The Education Department along with the Legal Representative of UEBR and The General Secretary of CPR-Rwanda visited one of the Schools in the Southern Province in the Huye district at the PETIT SEMINAIRE BATISTE DE BUTARE school. This ceremony was characterized by showcasing various talents among students through various games, dancing, poems, karate matches, etc. Afterwards, the school leaders showed some of the different activities at this school, including the dining room, the kitchen, the smart classroom, laboratories, etc.

The event was attended by various leaders from both government sectors and the church, including: the Regional Representative of the Southern Province, the Legal Representative of UEBR, the General Secretary of CPR, teachers at the schools, the students, and the parents committee members of the school. On the government side, the Sector and District representatives where the school is located participated in the ceremony.

In the delivered message, significant emphasis was placed on the various achievements this institution has accomplished, including providing quality education. PETIT SEMINAR BATISTE DE BUTARE school began in 1986, initially to train pastors. However, discussions later led to opening formal education at the secondary level. The UEBR church is pleased to collaborate with the government, which facilitates the church’s noble role in education.
