The presence and the use of Sunday Schools materials in some parishes and the presence of few trained Sunday Schools teachers in different parishes are remarkable. Sunday school classes are organized. But they need to learn by group of age 3-5years ; 6-9years ; 10-13years. Church members understand the necessity of an organized Sunday School.
The second speaker, Reverend Pastor Mutabazi Samuel, led the participants in a reflection on the functioning, the union of churches, and Protestant values. Thus, the participants found that their collaboration in unity is a strength to develop their jobs, their respective churches, and the members of these churches, while respecting Protestant values from the very beginning.
The meeting of the scholarship holders in this workshop was a great opportunity to share their experiences of the achievements since they began their studies. The courses taken at the Universities served as challenges that pushed the scholarship holders to reflect more on the promotion of the development of the Church in its various fields and the members themselves. In addition, the arrival of Covid-19 and the various moments of confinement were triggers to react. Thus, the Christians met in small groups for prayer, mutual aid and savings, small Christian development projects (agriculture, livestock, etc.), activities to continue the construction of church infrastructure, the planting of church forests, etc.

Reverend Pastor Samuel Mutabazi, Director of the National Bureau of Protestant Education (BNEP), opened the workshop after sharing the word of God. The closing ceremony was enhanced by the Secretary General of the CPR, Reverend Dr. Samuel Rugambage, also with a word of God. The Director of the BNEP reminded participants of the objectives of the workshop and asked them to benefit from it. The Secretary General, in closing, thanked everyone for their efforts to successfully complete their studies and especially the experiences and achievements obtained since the beginning of their studies. He also asked those who are not very advanced to put more energy into completing their studies before the end of the project. This “Capacity Building Project for Staff of Churches” members of the CPR pays the tuition fees to universities and provides contributions for Master’s level studies. It will last three years from August 2019.
