General Assembly Teaching is an integral part of the Church's overall mission as recorded in various biblical texts. This mission is summarized as follows: "To make disciples of God's people, to educate, instruct, and develop them in every way so that they may become wise and understanding" (cf. Deuteronomy 4:4-6; Matthew 28:19-20; John 10:10b-20).

Women Program A training session was therefore organized for the PAP teaching unit in techniques for manufacturing teaching materials from July 30 to August 1, 2019. They learned to manufacture teaching materials from materials ready to be thrown away or at very low prices: used paper, cardboard, a very large quantity of glue from cassava flour, and They learn to make semi-concrete material (very close to the object itself in its real colors).

CPR Radio Inkoramutima Sometimes it’s difficult to remember that it is only a few months that God planted the seeds of the Jesus Only radio program in Rwanda. After three months of broadcasting, we can reflect on remarkable progress. This radio program is unique, not only because of its message, but because it is inspiring the establishment of home fellowships, and helping us to set up relationships with other Christian churches.

The Joy of Living in Jesus It has brought us lessons that we have never conceived before. We have been helped to understand that Jesus only is the way to our Father. The message is clear, simple to understand and beautifully articulate, and I now feel great peace in my Lord. I have learned that we should walk the walk of love—the love that brought Jesus to this world, and the love and loved me as well.

Youth Programme currently identifying potential leaders of home fellowships in various parts of Rwanda. The plan is to provide them with training in January, so they can be confident in setting up and running their own fellowships. This training is useful in several ways: these teachers use learned techniques to make teaching materials in their respective classes and help their fellow teachers by giving them active teaching techniques and techniques for making teaching materials at the same time.

Education BNEP For three successive days of this last week of the short school holidays of July 2019, the trainers in Active and Participatory Pedagogy – PAP, or the PAP teaching unit at the education department – BNEP of the Protestant Council of Rwanda – CPR, were trained in techniques for manufacturing teaching materials. These teachers, however professional they may be, have often been busy training their fellow teachers across the country in general didactics teaching methods that involve students as much as possible in their lessons. However, active methods also mean the use of appropriately prepared teaching materials. It is therefore very important that these trainers be sufficiently experienced in creating teaching materials based on certain techniques.

About The Protestant Council of Rwanda

The Protestant Council of Rwanda (CPR) is a public and religious based organizations founded by 4 protestant Churches in 1963 and obtained its legal status through the ministerial order No 112/08 of 5th November 1963. As time went on, it grew tremendously to currently count 19 churches and 5 Christian organizations.

This organ coordinates and manages all daily activities of the Council with respect to the constitution, legal and administrative regulations. It also has the mandate to implement decisions made by CPR organs towards achievements of the CPR vision and mission.

Evangelism comes from a Greek root meaning “good news.” Looking to the root meaning of the word reminds us that an evangelist is one who brings good news. When we witness to our faith, we are being “evangelists” and bringing the good news of the gospel to others.
